I am wondering if this might be a good career for me and I have many skills I could transfer to this type of job…what are the steps a person goes through to get into this feild?

If you live in alberta you can contact RECA, this is the Real Estate Council of Alberta http://www.reca.ca . They will have all the information that you will need to become a realtor. I beleive they offer two types of courses a 3 month class setting or by correspondence.
